Our team is formed of qualified engineers, designers and Technicians. Our engineers have all attained an MEng degree at prestigious universities and are registered to the Institute of Civil Engineers.
For a simple planning application, it normally takes 8 weeks to attain approval from the council. However, for more complex projects it can take between 13-16 weeks.
Here at ThePlansCo, we have introduced a two-part payment process. The first payment is made after the initial survey and prior to us starting works on the architectural drawings.
The second payment is made prior to the application submission to the council.
Put simply, if your development plans alter the main shell of your house or affect the structural integrity, then some level of permission or notification will be required.
We will work with you to determine if you proposed development falls within the ‘permitted development’ criteria, if so, you will not require planning permission.
If not, we will apply for planning permission on your behalf.
This is a critical step in our process. A surveyor will visit your property to take measurements, take photographs and get a general understanding of your space.
This information will then be used to draw your plans and help us to best inform you on the most suitable development for your property.
However, this can be skipped if you have a set of CAD drawings of your property on hand.
